Researchers have made new discoveries about the interior of Mars using data from marsquakes. The findings suggest that Mars has a solid inner core and may have hidden magma systems, as well as possibly containing liquid water, although the exact nature of the planet's interior remains somewhat unclear. Studies using NASA's seismic wave data have also revealed a complex, lumpy interior and provided evidence of tectonic forces at work on the planet.
