There is guidance available on the frequency of colonoscopies for colorectal cancer screening. The procedure is considered a key screening method, potentially lifesaving, and its costs with and without coverage are being discussed. Additionally, alternative screening methods, such as a recently approved blood test, are also being considered for colorectal cancer detection.
