Hollywood is developing movies based on internet horror stories, with several projects currently in the works. A film adaptation of the youtube horror series The Mandela Catalogue is being produced, with involvement from steven spielberg's production company. Other internet-based horror movies are also in development, including a sequel to a story about the backrooms.
