Chinese company BYD has developed a high-powered ev charger that can reportedly charge electric vehicles at speeds comparable to filling up with petrol. The technology is said to be able to charge a vehicle to 70% in just a few minutes, addressing range anxiety concerns. The chargers are expected to be introduced in the UK, as chinese automakers continue to make inroads in the global electric vehicle market.
