Improving maternal care is a critical issue in the US. Efforts to strengthen postpartum care and support community birthing are being explored as ways to make maternal healthcare more equitable. However, the scope of the issue and potential solutions may extend beyond the US, with reports and research also focusing on maternal health in other countries and the use of technology and artificial intelligence in obstetrics.
