Researchers are exploring the integration of various methods, including acoustic, optical, and electrical approaches, in picoliter droplet microfluidics to enrich rare particles. This work may involve simultaneous use of acoustic and photoacoustic microfluidic flow cytometry for label-free analysis. The goal of this research appears to be the development of new techniques for analyzing and enriching rare particles.
