A central team has visited Assam to assess flood damage in the state. The team, which may have been composed of six members, inspected flood damage in various districts, including Bajali and Cachar, and reviewed relief and rehabilitation measures. The team's visit, which lasted at least four days, also resulted in suggestions for mitigation measures to address the flood damage.
