Scientists have found that an interstellar object, referred to as 3I/ATLAS, is releasing some kind of material. The object is currently exiting the solar system and has been observed with a feature described as a "jet" or "tendril" extending towards the sun. The nature and origin of the object are not yet clear, with some speculation about its possible identity.
