Intratumoral immunotherapy is being explored for its potential to treat locally advanced and metastatic cancer. Research from various perspectives, including neuro-immune-endocrine, is being conducted to examine its effectiveness, particularly in breast cancer treatment. Studies, including a phase ib trial, are investigating the use of intratumoral immunotherapy in combination with other therapies for advanced breast cancer.
