Research has been conducted on postoperative analgesia for radical gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients. A comprehensive review has been published on this topic, and there is also discussion about opioid-free anesthesia in enhanced recovery after surgery for gastrointestinal surgery. The current status, challenges, and prospects of opioid-free anesthesia in this context are being explored.
