Research on the human brain has focused on the profiling of m6A epitranscriptomic signatures at the isoform level. This work has explored the role of m6A deposition in shaping the mammalian transcriptome and its involvement in RNA surveillance. The studies have examined m6A sites in the human transcriptome, including at single-molecule and single-cell resolutions.
