Israel's first KC-46 tanker, also known as the "Gideon", has conducted its maiden flight. The flight took place in the US, prior to the tanker's delivery to the Israeli Air Force. Reports suggest this is part of a larger effort to modernize Israel's aerial refueling capabilities, with some outlets indicating that this is the first of multiple KC-46 tankers to be received by Israel.
