The xrism x-ray space telescope has released its first images, with initial findings including the detection of a hot wind in galaxy m82 and the discovery of elements in a supernova remnant. The telescope is also being used to study the universe in different x-ray wavelengths and has revealed a high-energy cosmic-ray accelerator near a black hole. However, issues with the telescope, including a reportedly jammed door, may be hindering its operation.
