A Jackson Pollock drip painting has sold for $181m, reportedly becoming the fourth most expensive artwork at auction. Other notable sales have also taken place, including a Brancusi sculpture and a Rothko canvas, with the latter becoming the most expensive Rothko sold at auction. The sales are part of recent auctions at Christie's in New York and Hong Kong, which have also featured other artworks and items, such as a jadeite necklace.
