An air quality alert has been issued for parts of the northeastern United States, with the Mohawk Valley reportedly under alert due to smoke from wildfires. However, it is unclear if the air quality issues are solely due to wildfires, as a windstorm also hit the Mohawk Valley, causing damage. Air quality alerts have also been issued for areas outside of the Mohawk Valley, including parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania, as well as York County and areas around Baltimore.
