The Lao People's Democratic Republic has been engaged in various international activities, including joining the Hague System and signing a country programme framework with the International Atomic Energy Agency. The country has also been working to strengthen its preparedness for influenza and improve workplace equality, among other efforts. Additionally, its deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs has been meeting with foreign officials, including those from Russia and ASEAN.
