A total lunar eclipse, also referred to as a "blood moon", is occurring. The eclipse is being livestreamed online for free, allowing those who cannot see it in person to watch, including people in areas with cloud cover or outside of the eclipse's visible region. The eclipse is visible in certain locations, including Southern California and San Diego, but it is unclear if it will be visible in all areas, such as the Charlotte region.
