Research suggests a connection between pollinators and diverse landscapes, with factors such as pesticides and habitat loss affecting pollinators. Studies are examining the relationship between crop diversity, landscape heterogeneity, and pollinator health, as well as the impact of pollinator movement on plant genetic diversity. Efforts are also underway to create and enhance habitats that protect pollinators, including in urban and suburban areas, due to concerns about the risks of pollinator loss to key crops.
