An avalanche in the Tahoe area has resulted in the deaths of nine backcountry skiers, with the bodies of all victims recovered and identified. The victims included six mothers, as well as two sisters. The group consisted of individuals from the Bay Area, the Tahoe region, and Boise, who were described as mothers, adventurers, and skiers.
