Researchers are exploring new methods to model glioblastoma relapse in vitro, moving beyond traditional 2D models to more complex alternatives such as 3D and organ-on-chip models. These models are being used to study various aspects of glioblastoma, including the interactions between different cell types and the tumor microenvironment. Studies are investigating the behavior of glioblastoma cells in these microenvironments, as well as the use of imaging platforms to analyze tumor volume.
