Studies are exploring the complex interactions between stromal cells, immune cells, and cancer cells, and how these interactions contribute to tumor heterogeneity and therapy resistance. The use of molecular profiling, organoids, and other approaches is helping to shed light on these interactions and identify potential drug vulnerabilities.
