Research suggests that removing fallopian tubes may significantly reduce the risk of ovarian cancer. Some studies indicate a substantial reduction in risk, with one report citing a nearly 80 per cent decrease. However, the relationship between fallopian tube removal and ovarian cancer risk is not universally agreed upon, with at least one study finding no link between the two.
