A mosquito in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta has tested positive for West Nile virus. The detection was made in Fulton County, with some reports indicating that multiple mosquitoes in the area have tested positive. This appears to be the first instance of West Nile virus-positive mosquitoes in the metro Atlanta area this year.
