Research is being conducted on the development of on-skin electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring and human-machine interfaces. Various studies are exploring different materials and designs, including soft electrodes, liquid metal nanoparticles, and nanomesh-reinforced hydrogels, to create wearable and adaptable devices. The goal of these efforts appears to be the creation of high-performance, comfortable, and long-lasting electrodes for use in bioelectronics and wearable devices.
