A live-action movie adaptation of the children's book series "The Magic School Bus" is in development, with Elizabeth Banks set to star as Ms. Frizzle. The project is being developed by Legendary Entertainment, with Rob Letterman on board to direct and possibly write the treatment. Elizabeth Banks is also reportedly involved in producing the film.
