A woman from Maine has accused Graham Platner, a senate candidate, of sexual assault, with some reports specifying the alleged incident occurred in 2021 while they were dating. Platner has denied the allegation of rape. Following the accusation, Platner has dropped out of the senate race, amid growing calls for him to do so.
