A massive global study has found that nearly all heart attacks and strokes are linked to a small number of risk factors. The study reportedly found that 99% of these cardiovascular events are tied to just four risk factors, which are described as preventable. It appears that having at least one of these risk factors is a common precursor to heart attacks, strokes, and other serious cardiovascular events.
