A satellite collaboration between nasa and isro has sent its first images of earth's surface. The images, which are reported to be of high quality and reveal detailed information about land and features such as forests and wetlands, were captured using radar technology. The satellite, referred to as nisar, is part of a joint mission and is expected to provide significant contributions to earth observation.
