A new, tiny moon has been discovered orbiting Uranus, bringing the total number of known moons to 29. The discovery was made using the James Webb Space Telescope, which was able to detect the moon that had previously gone undetected, including by the Voyager spacecraft. The characteristics of Uranus' small moons, including the newly discovered one, are described as being dark, red, and water-poor.
