Construction has begun on the final skyscraper at the World Trade Center, a 1,226-ft supertall building. The tower, which will be occupied by American Express, is expected to be 55 stories high. The project is part of the ongoing redevelopment of the site, nearly 25 years after the 9/11 attacks.
