A new oral tyk2 inhibitor has shown efficacy in treating psoriasis, with some reports specifying it has demonstrated sustained efficacy in moderate-to-severe cases. The inhibitor, referred to as both envudeucitinib and zasocitinib, has reportedly shown rapid and durable skin clearance in phase 3 trials for plaque psoriasis. The results of these trials suggest the oral treatment may rival injectable biologics in terms of skin clearance.
