A new comet, known as comet Lemmon, may be visible to the naked eye this month. It is one of two comets that can be seen in the night sky, along with another comet, although the exact timing and duration of their visibility is unclear. The comets are expected to disappear from view for an extended period, possibly over a thousand years, after this month.
