Research is being conducted on the use of microbe-based bioinoculants to promote sustainable agriculture and food security. Various studies are exploring the potential of beneficial soil bacteria, such as Trichoderma, and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria, to improve crop production and reduce waste. The development of novel fertilizers and bioinoculants is also being investigated as a means to increase crop tolerance to environmental stresses and improve phosphorus management.
