research has found that the ubiquitination of sirt1 is regulated by the opposing activities of two entities. these entities, apc/c-cdh1 and aros, have contrasting effects on sirt1 ubiquitination during stress-induced premature senescence. the relationship between these entities and sirt1 ubiquitination has been identified in this context.
