The plant may be part of a larger expansion of clean energy generation by Indiana & Michigan Power, with some reports suggesting it could be the largest owned by the company and its parent AEP. However, the location of the plant is also reported to be in Blackford County, which may be one of multiple sites for new solar generating plants.
