A systematic review and meta-analysis has examined the safety and effectiveness of common in-vitro fertilisation add-ons. The study's findings suggest that few of these add-ons have proven benefits, with most showing little evidence of boosting birth rates or improving fertility. The research indicates a lack of strong evidence supporting the effectiveness of many IVF add-ons.
