A flaw in samsung mobile devices has been exploited as a zero-day vulnerability to deploy landfall android spyware. The vulnerability, identified as cve-2025-21042, has been used in attacks, reportedly including those in the middle east, and can be exploited via whatsapp messages. The issue has been added to the known exploited vulnerabilities catalog by the us cisa.
