Research on the moon's subsurface structure is ongoing, with studies examining the properties of lunar regolith and the detection of moonquakes. The Chang'E-4 and Chang'e-6 missions, as well as the Yutu-2 rover, have provided new data on the moon's farside, including its deep subsurface structure. The findings are helping to improve understanding of the moon's tectonic framework and inform future exploration.
