The Air Force has given approval for SpaceX to launch its Starship megarocket from a Florida pad. Preparations for a launch from Florida are underway, although it is unclear when the launch will occur or if alternative launch sites are being considered. A recent test flight of the Starship was conducted from a location in South Texas.
