Research is being conducted on the spatial distribution and determinants of various types of heritage in different regions of China. Studies are examining the spatial patterns and influencing factors of built heritage, industrial heritage, and intangible cultural heritage in areas such as West Hubei Province, Northeast China, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The scope of the research also appears to extend beyond China, with investigations into heritage sites in Peninsular Malaysia.
