Research is providing insights into the interactions between immune cells and the tumor microenvironment in various types of cancer. Studies are using single-cell and spatial omics to understand the crosstalk between macrophages, T-cells, and other components of the tumor microenvironment. The focus of these studies appears to be on different types of cancer, including cervical, ovarian, and hepatocellular carcinoma, with an emphasis on understanding the complex dynamics of the tumor microenvironment.
