Research suggests that senolytic therapies may be effective in slowing spinal disc degeneration. Studies in mice have shown that certain senolytic drugs, including combinations of them, can delay or ameliorate age-dependent intervertebral disc degeneration. The potential of these therapies to treat spinal disc degeneration and related back pain is being explored, with some studies also investigating combination treatments involving other approaches.
