Stuxnet is considered the first known cyberweapon, but its status as the earliest example of cyber sabotage is being reevaluated. Researchers have discovered malware, including one known as "fast16", that may have predated Stuxnet by several years, potentially rewriting the history of cyber sabotage. The significance of Stuxnet and its impact on the development of cyber warfare continue to be examined and discussed.
