A state wildlife commission is seeking volunteers to help count turtles, specifically terrapins, as part of a conservation project. The effort, referred to as the "Terrapin Tally", aims to learn more about a species of turtle found in the coastal area. Volunteers, including kayakers, are being recruited to participate in the project.
