A new estimate suggests that steam has more than 50% more monthly users than playstation, with some reports indicating steam has around 200 million monthly active users. This would make steam significantly larger than playstation in terms of monthly users. However, the size of playstation's user base is not specified in these reports, and at least one outlet notes that another platform, roblox, may have a larger combined user base than both steam and playstation.
