A new approach called SwarmMAP has been developed for decentralized cell type annotation in single cell sequencing data. This approach utilizes swarm learning, which is also being explored for decentralized and confidential clinical machine learning applications. Swarm learning appears to be a method for facilitating collaborative and private machine learning across different entities.
