The Philippines has received four Ocean Aero Triton vehicles from the US to enhance its maritime security. The vehicles are described as unmanned systems, autonomous underwater and surface vehicles, or sea drones, and are reportedly solar-powered. The transfer is seen as part of an effort to strengthen the Philippines' maritime domain awareness.
