A new optimization algorithm, called the pair barracuda swarm optimization algorithm, has been developed. This algorithm is a natural-inspired metaheuristic method, which is reportedly used for solving high dimensional optimization problems. The details and applications of this algorithm are being discussed as a potential solution for complex optimization issues.
