Pink Floyd has sold its back catalogue for $400 million. The buyer of the catalogue is reported to be Sony, with the deal possibly including the band's name and likeness. Reports do not mention any involvement of other bands, despite some outlets recently covering similar music catalogue sales, such as that of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
