However, some donated vaccines are reportedly going to waste in the Congo due to storage challenges. Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has facilitated agreements for the donation of hundreds of thousands of doses, with deliveries made to countries including the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria.
